About us

01

The core

The Progetto SolidALE committee is a group of people united in Ale's memory. The heart of the committee is the family that started the project: we are Sonia (President), Daniele (Treasurer) and Andrea (Secretary).

02

The energy

Ale's closest friends joined us from the very first moment, bringing his same energy and passion for life. Lorenzo (Vice President), Arianna, Miriam and Bianca (Board members) are essential to developing our projects and keeping the association's authentic spirit alive.

03

The allies

No project grows alone. We are supported by precious collaborators like Loredana, who dedicate their time and expertise to our cause.

Ale

Alessandro — simply Ale — was born in Milan on 14 April 1991, on a magical, silent snowy night.

From an early age he showed a lively curiosity and a natural passion for movement and discovery. Sport was his first language: swimming, tennis, skateboarding. Always moving, always smiling.

In the background, the rough notes of rock and metal, a guitar in his hands, drums beating like an impatient heart. And then computers, the digital world, a future to explore.

After graduating in architecture, though, it was the mountains that won him over. Climbing, with its verticality made of silences and breaths, and canyoning, where water and rock meet in an untameable embrace, became his home.

Every weekend was an adventure: ropes, harnesses, boots, and that pure desire to immerse himself in nature. In those gorges and streams, Alessandro found his true passion.

His dream was to become a canyoning guide, to lead others into the wonder he loved so much. A dream that was about to come true, with his certification within reach, when — on 18 May 2024 — during an inspection of the Esino stream in Perledo, his path was cut short, suddenly and far too soon.

Today, Progetto SolidALE exists to honour Ale's dream, so that his passion can keep flowing like a mountain stream — alive and bright — in the eyes and steps of those who come after him.
