An opportunity for aspiring canyoning guides
To honour the memory of Alessandro Dall'Ò and promote the values of solidarity and safety in the natural environment, the Progetto SolidALE ETS committee is proud to announce the "Alessandro Dall'Ò" Scholarship.
Born from the partnership with the Italian Canyoning Guides Association (AIGC), Italy's reference point for professional training in this field, the initiative supports the training of a deserving aspiring canyoning guide and promotes the passion for canyoning while always putting safety first.

The 2026 AIC meeting
The meeting takes place in Ponte Caffaro, a hamlet in the municipality of Bagolino on Lake Idro, in the Sabbia Valley. AIC returns to this area after the meetings of 2006 and 2014: there are many canyons to descend, with some new additions, both in the Sabbia Valley and near lakes Garda and Iseo, as well as in the Camonica Valley.

What the scholarship offers
The scholarship is worth €3,000 and is intended to partially cover the costs of the AIGC training programme leading to the title of Canyon Guide – Canyoning Master.
Who is it for?
This opportunity is aimed at motivated candidates who, beyond a solid technical foundation, show strong team spirit and a responsible approach to canyoning, in line with our committee's values of solidarity and safety.
We are proud to present this initiative in partnership with AIGC.
Requirements and how to participate
To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Having passed one of the AIGC entry selections (known as VEP-IF) held during 2025.

Having signed the training contract with AIGC by 31 December 2025.

Having started the training programme by 31 December 2026.

Having submitted a personal statement describing the motivations for becoming a guide and the professional project they intend to pursue.
Selection process
The final selection of the scholarship recipient is entirely up to the Progetto SolidALE ETS committee. Several criteria will be considered, including:
- The "placement" issued by AIGC and provided to the committee by the candidate at the end of the selections, which assesses the candidate's technical level.
- The candidate's motivation for undertaking the training programme.
- The candidate's financial situation as certified by ISEE.
The goal is to invest in the potential of deserving young people, providing real help for their professional growth.
How the grant is paid
It is important to note that the scholarship is conditional on obtaining the final AIGC Canyoning Guide title. The €3,000 contribution is paid as a reimbursement at the end of the training programme, upon presentation of:
- 01 The AIGC Canyoning Guide diploma, obtained within 4 years of signing the training contract.
- 02 Payment receipts for all training modules included in the contract.
