Local projects

Our commitment to the community

Beyond supporting the training of canyoning guides, our committee's equally important mission is to act concretely for the young people of our community.

The "Progetto Solidale Alessandro Dall'Ò" fund

To do this in the most effective and transparent way, the Progetto SolidALE ETS committee chose to join Fondazione di Comunità Milano — city, south-west, south-east and Martesana.

Alongside joining the foundation, we established the "Progetto Solidale Alessandro Dall'Ò" fund. This fund, managed through the foundation, is the dedicated vehicle for collecting donations for our local projects, guaranteeing full transparency and continuity.

The first collaboration

"A riveder le stelle", with the Ponte Sesto parish

Our first major collaboration, born through this network, is with the Ponte Sesto parish, which we supported and accompanied through the "Viva gli Oratori" grant application. The grant was won, and out of that milestone came "A riveder le stelle".

On Monday 7 September the project officially came to life, presented at the Ponte Sesto oratory together with local families.

Aimed at young people between 11 and 18, the programme is built around three concrete actions:

01

A self-run space

A room inside the building, designed by the young people themselves and fitted out together with families and volunteers.

02

Psychological and educational support

Someone to listen and to give direction, through the "La Bussola del Benessere" service.

03

Study and coming together

Help with schoolwork and social activities, to bring out talents and counter early school leaving.

An open workshop that turns the Fund's support into everyday opportunities for our community. Keep following us to find out about the next steps and how the activities develop.
