At Palazzo Lombardia for the presentation of Giornata Giovani

This morning, Monday 7 September, we were on the 39th floor of Palazzo Lombardia for the official presentation of Giornata Giovani, which takes place on 13 and 14 May 2027 and is promoted by Regione Lombardia’s Sport and Youth undersecretariat.

It was an interesting chance to see at close hand a collective effort that, in this coming edition too, will involve schools, parish youth centres, sports organisations and the third sector. Among the morning’s contributions were first-hand accounts from Italian sporting champions such as Arianna Fontana and Daniele Cassioli.

Although our own field – safety and awareness in the natural environment and in canyons – is a specific one, we believe deeply in the educational value of sport and in paying attention to younger generations. Being present at moments like this means listening to the world around us, widening our view, and continuing to walk alongside young people.
