Alongside Il Balzo: the support of the Alessandro Dall'Ó fund

Ale’s memory takes many forms. Through the work of our committee we set out to spread safety and awareness in the outdoors and in canyoning; with the Progetto SolidALE Alessandro Dall’Ó fund, opened at Fondazione di Comunità Milano, we chose to turn our attention and our resources to young people and to the needs of our own area.

It is in that spirit that, over the summer of 2026, we decided to contribute to the summer centre for teenagers run by Il Balzo ETS in Rozzano.

While schools are closed, and the risk of social isolation is at its highest for girls and boys with disabilities and complex vulnerabilities, the summer centre is an essential educational safeguard. Our contribution supported the cooperative in guaranteeing educational continuity to 12 young people, making possible the constant presence of two dedicated professionals and the running of independence workshops, sporting activities, outings and time spent together.

For the fund to go on promoting and supporting work that matters to our community, what each of us gives is essential.
